Franklin Golf Club
About
Franklin Golf Course is a player-friendly, nine-hole course that is perfect for beginners. At 2,559 yards from the tips, the course plays to a par of 35. While the layout is not exactly a challenge, it does provide a quick round that is good for some practice. The bentgrass greens are well-maintained and putt true. There is no water on the course but there are a few strategically placed bunkers throughout. The hazards are nothing too serious though. The traditional layout has remained largely unchanged since opening in 1941. The golf course easily accommodates those who are new to the game but seasoned players looking for a challenging round will have to go elsewhere though the affordable rates are enough to appeal to any skill level.

Arrived at 0755 for our 0800 tee time, but not one employee was present, doors locked. Waited for 35 minutes, still no employee showed up, ended up leaving. Won’t try this course again.
Franklin golf course
Course is challenging 9 hole course.
Very much enjoyed playing this course.
Staff was very friendly and courteous.
Sprinklers running on the green
I had to skip three holes because sprinklers on or four and five players playing together
The fairways are dead
This course is in such horrible shape this year. There is hardly any green grass in the fairways. There doesn't seem to be any type of course maintenance going on. The greens are so slow is like putting through mud. The one upside is if you hit off the fairways you don't lose your ball because there's no grass to hide it. I hope they get the course in better shape soon or I don't think I'll be back.
Need's a little help
A hilly, cavernous terrain. Would be near impossible to walk. Easy to get lost. Tee boxes and greens hard to find. It appears a bit run down..but the keep it mowed and there is very little out-of-bounds.
Rain kills all
It was GREAT until mother nature called my round 9 holes short.
Very Hilly
This course will make you use every shot in the book ,Great course to improve and work on uneven lies of ball striking.
