Jasper Hills Golf Club
About
A TRUE REBIRTH, A BRAND NEW BEGINNING. Originally opened in 2000 as “Sebastian Hills”, the 18 hole course was unique with its creative layout and concrete cart paths and brought in many, many golfers over the nearly two decades that it was open. The course closed permanently after the 2017 season. After numerous attempts to sell, the course overgrew and seemed completely hopeless to return as the years ticked by. But then in 2021, a new hope was sparked. Local residents decided to take a chance on this 18 hole dream. Their love for the beauty of the land the course sits on inspired them to bring it back to life. It truly was a mountain of an undertaking, but they were up for the challenge. The course has new owners, new vision, new business plan, new everything but the beautiful piece of property the course sits on. The course remains the same layout but nearly every other aspect has been been given new attention and love.

Great value
Greens and fairways were in great condition. The carts are very comfortable as well and had a nice GPS unit. We got a buffalo chicken wrap that was pretty good but did take about 20 minutes to get. The course was pretty slow on this Saturday afternoon. The 18 hole round took about 5 hr 15 min. At one point on the back 9 there were 4 groups of 4 on a par 5. One on the green, one on the fairway, and two at tee box waiting.
Was in town, visiting family. Went solo and paired up with three locals. They had told me that the course had been on a new management for a few years and was a great condition. After 18, I totally agree it was a very fun and course and greens were in good condition for spring golf. Somewhat narrow fairways lined with trees but open up nicely at the right places. 18th hole very narrow and challenging. W,would definitely go back and golf again. Note, if you make reservations through golf now, make sure give them a call anyway. They had a little trouble with the communication with the software reservations. First time that's ever happened for me.
Jasper Hills
Jasper Hills has some really picturesque holes, that are well designed, with adequate landing areas, and framed second shots, and the their are punishing holes, the do not provide much if any room for error.
A challenging course, that can beat you up in a hurry, but definitely rewarding if you successfully manage your way to a few pars!
Greens were nice, some pins placed on ridges, or edge of ridges, or middle of slopes… speed of greens was moderate to fast, but this is March.
Course continues to improve
Jasper Hills is constantly being improved. The greens are in excellent condition and the fairways are good. The course has a challenging front nine with hills and tight fairways lined with trees. The back nine is more open and relatively flat. However, the 18th hole par 5 reminds you of the hills, trees, and creek you must navigate to finish an enjoyable and challenging round!
Call them to confirm tee time.
Great course, greens were true but didn't break as much as I thought. Fairways are narrow. Lots of trees and hazards. Challenging. Fun course, especially 18. Very narrow.
Learn the rules
Course was in good shape, nice layout. The guy working the starter spot was awesome.
I had two sets of 5 players in front of me, so pace of play sucked. The group directly ahead of me had 5 and let a 6-6 yr old play also, so technically they had 6. I'm in ko way against teaching kids and letting them play but serious do this at the range or on a slow day.
I was so aggravated, I left after the 10th hole. I should of asked for my money back.
I love golf, bit groups like this just pass me off and I'm surprised the course let them.
Jasper Hills Review
Played this course for the first time. It is over an hour away and I will be back. Course was in great shape especially for October. All sand traps were manicured and had rakes. Greens were well taken care of. Layout was interesting which provided some challenges and some good views. Staff was as nice as any course I have been to. Food was also very good after the round. Value was excellent. Only issue was slow pace of play on this Thursday late morning round. Single golfer in front of a few twosomes. Single had 2 foursomes in front of her. Waited on every hole for several minutes. Probably not the norm from other reviews I have read. Look forward to going back and bringing some other golfers that have never been to this place.
Not the Easiest, Not the Hardest, Great Updates
This was a great first experience. The carts were all updated with GPS technology and had the course layout on the screen. Very helpful information. The course was also in excellent shape. The grounds crew does an excellent job. Only one slight gripe and that was that they were still mowing at 1 PM and we had to wait a few times for them to get out of our way to not hit them. Feel like that should be done earlier. Regardless, we'll be back
Great public course
Very nice public course. My only complaint was bathroom co-Ed, toilet stopped up with toilet paper, toilet paper on the floor, filthy men just urinated on toilet stool, I played 9 holes and didn't use bathroom until I could stop at McDonalds. That was my only disappointment. Excellent burger, nice carts, nice staff
Super friendly staff greT coufse
