Reid Park Golf Club - South Course
About
Reid Park Golf Club has two 18-hole courses available, the North and the South. Originally opened in 1967, Reid Park has established a reputation as one of the best golf values in the area. The South Course is a challenging but playable layout, which is why it is the home course for many of the area's high school teams. The golf course is laid across gently rolling, open terrain that allows for the occasional errant shot. It has a very player-friendly nature and it is easy to walk. The course is not overly punishing but there are still a few challenges in store. If you're looking for a tougher test, the championship North Course is the way to go. In addition to Reid Park's two golf courses, there is also a driving range and two putting greens.

Senior Tees on South Course
Course was in good shape, senior tees seemed to be an afterthought, weren't very level, and placed on slopes on several holes. Snack bar staff was friendly and food was good, overall happy with experience.
Overall Great Experience
Played here on a whim with a cheap deal through GolfNow. Was amazed at how great the greens were, how well maintained the trees were, and the overall look and feel of the course was great. Only reason it is not maxed on all ratings is because the cart paths need attention, and some of the holes were more difficult to find then necessary. Also if you are looking for sand traps, there are none, but the course still had enough challenge to make it interesting through trees and elevation changes. Would highly recommend this to anyone in the area.
We’ll Maintained Course; Unusual Course Layout
I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience on the south course; however, the course layout seems lacking in a coherent sequence. We found ourselves searching for the next tee box on a couple holes.
Nice Course
Great time. Layout can be a little confusing. Cart paths are are a little rough. Nice open layout. No traps on the south course. Greens are in great condition and tricky. Course was in very good condition. Wish there were pictures on the tee boxes to show the holes as this was my first time. The little picture on the score card can only do so much. Overall, would highly recommend this course.
Easygoing
Green in great shape , fairways cut short. Clover tall in rough, easy to lose balls!
Good course for the money!
I go here about once a week and play on the south course, it’s a really good course with friendly staff. I enjoy playing here and it’s a good course for beginners. No sandpits, minimal water. Would recommend to anyone for the value!
Ruff Rough 5/22/21
Rough on the South course could use a shave!! Miss the fairway and plan on spending time looking for your ball.
Great Course for Seniors
Have played this course many times over the
years. It is in wonderful condition under the new ownership/management !!!!
Being a senior player now it is great to have this
shorter course to enjoy.
Thanks area golf pros for the wonderful job
you are doing with Reid South !
North 4 stars South 3.5
The north course is the better course both in terms of course layout and condition, but not by a lot. Both courses are worth playing, especially if you get a hot rate. The south course you can really score well if the conditions and your swing are optimal.
Poorley Marked
Tee Boxes had 0 markers. As someone playing course for first time, was difficult to find the next hole.
Nice course if you’re not great at golf.
Nice course if you’re not great at golf.My friend I enjoyed this golf course and it was in very good shape for still being March. There’s not many sand traps or water feature so pace of play moves along and you don’t lose 1000 golf balls. Everybody at the course was very nice.
A MUST PLAY
The staff are more than helpful to make your round great, the course is in really good shape for this time of year.
Reid South Course
Early in year. I will go back when trees and grass is full green. Elevation changed a lot and the dog leg holes, I could have picked tighter lines. Scored really good, played white tees (6200 yards). Ground was wet ( no roll ) in summer should be able to play tips (blue 6400 )
