The Eagle Course at Kittyhawk Golf Center is one of three courses at the facility, the other two being another regulation length course and an executive, 18-hole course. These courses are three of only six municipal golf courses in the Dayton area. The Eagle Course is the longest being 400 yards longer than the other regulation course, the Hawk Course. The terrain is flat, making it an easy walk. The fairways are wide open and the greens are large. In addition to several sand bunkers and a scattering of trees, there are man-made lagoons that come into play on 16 holes.

need to cut the rough better for us novice golfers
Friendly Staff but me & my nephew golfed eagle course & didn't know if to much grass to attend to but rough was terrible lost a few well hit balls because of it there was dead grass on top of reg grass in clumps don't know about the other 2 courses there but the setup of holes was good but not a lot of signs showing were to go would only golf there if I got special on golf now.com don't know there prices but I guess it is what it is because its a municipal courses
Difficult But Fun
My 2 brothers and cousin played Kittyhawk - Eagle. It was one of the nicer courses we've played, but also one of the longest. That gave each of us difficulty as we were not used to that. It's a nice course, but one I'd probably be better off playing later in the season when my swing is more dialed in.
Great Buy!
Great course for the money - looks like they a majority of the ponds are being redone - very much looking forward to seeing the results
Fun course needs some rangers
Very very slow play and usual is.. No Rangers to push the pace or pull slower players aside.. Greens in very nice condition and so are fairways.. Maybe let people know when there is an outing going on in front of you
Couse was accessible, and in very good condition for late in the season. staff was friendly and helpful, as always.
One big question on the Eagle course, as opposed to the hawk - why all the giant gravel pits? These huge craters seemed to be a bit excessive in number if this was planned. If they are inteded to be water hazards, please fill them with water. It would also be more asthetically pleasing. Course overall played well and was in very good shape, including tee boxes, fairways and greens.
Excellent City Course
Course in great condition. Great staff!! I was able to play through Golf Now at 50% off !!
