Championship Course at the Golf Club at Yankee Trace
Dayton, Ohio | 18 holes | Par: 72 | 7139 yards
Located in Centerville, the Golf Club at Yankee Trace not only holds the title of "Dayton's best golf course," it is also considered the best public course in the entire Miami Valley. The club offers a challenging Championship Course as well as the nine-hole Vintage Course. The 18-hole course is a tough but fair test. The layout plays across grassy meadows and despite being dotted with a few mature trees, the holes are mostly wide-open. Strategically placed bunkers protect the greens and there is also the occasional water hazard ton contend with. It is great for a quick game, rounds are usually played in less than four and a half hours. The traffic is helped by the nine-hole course, which is also great for beginners who don't want to take on the full golf course.
